2008
The 7th Annual ArtWalk 2008 is scheduled for October 11, 2008, 11am to 5pm in Downtown Livermore, bringing thousands out to stroll and enjoy a day of art, music, wine and shopping. Over 100 artists will set up exhibits displaying their work in shops, sidewalks and parks throughout the downtown.
About ArtWalk
ArtWalk Livermore isn’t another booth-upon-booth arts festival. We leave streets open and encourage people to stroll up and down the sidewalks and into shops, tasting rooms and restaurants to view exhibits, creating an interesting cross between a celebration of arts and a festival – and a chance to experience a sense of community and explore our downtown in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Pick up a free tour map at our information booths or in participating downtown businesses prior to ArtWalk.
To make the most of your day, feel free to explore our website and our growing art gallery to get a feel for the event and the artists you won’t want to miss. ArtWalk is an evolving event, with interesting activities that artists, groups and businesses create, so stop by the site a few weeks beforehand to take a look at the event highlights, the tour map and a schedule of activities. We’ll also have some fun offers from restaurants, wineries and hotels to peruse and print.
